Northeastern Boxer Rescue
Northeastern Boxer Rescue is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization which is an all-volunteer effort to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted and abandoned boxer dogs within the Northeastern United States. We work within Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

When boxers are in need, NBR volunteers respond. Our mission includes hands-on rescue, as well as education. We strive to inform others about the realities of pet ownership, promote neutering, and encourage responsible care. It is our hope that our efforts will enhance the lives of people as well as companion animals.

Metro Ferals
Helping Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland with their feral cat population. Metro Ferals is an all volunteer organization that was established in 1997 to promote non-lethal alternatives to feral cat population control.

Wild or feral cats are trapped, neutered and then returned (TNR) to their “home”, where we make sure there is a caretaker who can watch out for them and feed them. Young kittens are rescued, socialized and adopted through our adoption program. We also run a low cost spay/neuter clinic for feral cats and provide assistance to people wishing to TNR the cats they feed and maintain.

Maryland SPCA
The Maryland SPCA is a private, nonprofit, independent organization dedicated to helping animals and people. Our mission is to improve the lives of pets and people in the community. We operate primarily in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area. We are not affiliated with any national animal organization, and we do not receive any government or United Way funding

Baltimore Humane Society
Provide a temporary home, a safe refuge, and care for stray, unwanted and homeless animals.

Work aggressively to place each animal that comes to our shelter in a loving, permanent home.

Strive to end the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals by promoting and offering affordable spaying and neutering to control the population of unwanted animals in our area and addressing the issues that cause people to give up animals.

The Baltimore Humane Society is a private non-profit in the State of Maryland. The Humane Society functions entirely off of donations from caring individuals.
